COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the App includes:

Personal Data

While using our App, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. This includes:

- Account Information: When you register using Google Sign-In, we collect your email address and name as provided by Google to create and manage your account.

- Financial Information: We collect financial information, such as expense details (category, vendor, date, amount), and your self-defined monthly spending goal.

Data from Third-Party Services (Google Sign-In & Apple Sign-In)

The Application allows you to create an account and log in through Google Sign-In or Apple's Sign in with Apple. Depending on the option you choose, we may receive Google-verified or Apple-verified identifiers used solely for authentication.

Device Information & IP Logging: When you sign up or use the App, we automatically log your device’s IP address and related metadata for security and fraud-prevention purposes. IP logs are encrypted, stored separately from your personal account data, and are not used to personally identify you. They are retained for up to 30 days before being permanently deleted to prevent abuse.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

- Create and manage your account.

- Provide you with the core services of expense tracking and budget management.

- Synchronize your data across your devices using cloud services.

- Respond to your support requests and resolve issues.

- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the App.

- Notify you of updates to the App.

AI DATA PROCESSING

AI features are available exclusively to Vinte Plus subscribers. We only process data that belongs to Plus users, and no information from non-Plus accounts is sent to or used by our AI systems.

We use artificial intelligence (AI) services—both on-device and cloud-based—to enhance eligible users’ experience. Our AI models are used to:

- Automatically categorize your expenses.

- Generate personalized insights, summaries, and forecasts about your spending habits.

- Detect unusual spending patterns and suggest actions to help you stay on budget.

When cloud processing is required, your expense data is transmitted to the AI service over an encrypted connection, processed in volatile memory, and then immediately discarded. The processed results are stored securely in your account and are **never** retained by the AI provider, used to train external models, or leveraged for advertising.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties except as described:

- By law or to protect rights.

- Trusted service providers such as Firebase (Google) for authentication and secure data storage.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

Your trust is important to us; we protect your data with industry-standard encryption both in transit and at rest, and restrict access to authorized personnel only. Encrypted IP logs collected for security purposes are automatically deleted after 30 days.

YOUR CHOICES REGARDING YOUR INFORMATION

You may review, update, or delete your account at any time by contacting us.

OUR POLICY TOWARDS CHILDREN

Our App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
